Cinnabon Pudding

This recipe is from Carolyn, my hairdresser.  Unbelievably delicious!!!! She makes this for her family on Christmas morning every year.  Instead of the cinnabon you bake…. she used already made cinnamon rolls.  I couldn’t find them so I made it with the canned cinnabon rolls.  Either way….this will be a hit……

Serves: 10
  • 1 can cinnabon rolls, cooked and cubed
  • 4 Kings Hawaiian Rolls, cubed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup or 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 5 eggs
  • Optional: Whip cream for topping
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In 8 x 11 baking dish combined cubed rolls together and place in baking dish.
  3. In small sauce pan combine brown sugar and butter. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over cubed bread.
  4. In medium bowl combine milk and eggs. Stir until blended. Pour over bread also.
  5. Cook for 30 to 45 minutes or until sides are golden brown. Remove from heat and let set for 5 minutes before serving.
  6. Optional: Top with whip cream
