Ingredients
  • Crust and Topping
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ stick butter, unsalted, cold, sliced thinly
  • Blueberry Filling
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups blueberries, fresh or thawed frozen blueberries
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray 9x13 glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, butter and beat until crumbly. (You can use a fork also to press the butter into flour mixture.)
  4. Remove 1 cup of flour mixture and set aside. This will go on top of blueberry filling later.
  5. Press remaining flour mixture into baking dish making a crust. Cover only the bottom. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. In large bowl, slightly beat eggs. Add flour, sugar, sour cream, salt and vanilla. Beat on low with electric mixture until blended.
  7. Fold in blueberries. Pour blueberry mixture over cooked crust. Now topped with 1 cup of flour mixture you had set aside earlier.
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden brown.

Cherry Cream Cheese Brownies

This dessert is very easy to make and its delicious!  Made with cream cheese, brownie mix and of course 1 can of cherry pie filling.  YUM!

Ingredients
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 package chocolate fudge brownie mix, family size
  • ⅔ cup oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 eggs, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 5 tablespoons of butter, softened, unsalted
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom on 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix brownie mix following directions on back of box. Adding ⅔ cup of oil, ¼ water and 2 eggs.
  3. Spread brownie batter on over bottom of prepared baking dish.
  4. Using electric mixer beat cream cheese and butter together until combined. Add sugar, remaining 2 eggs, flour and vanilla extract. Beat until blended.
  5. Spoon cream cheese mixture unto brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl into batter.
  6. Spoon cherry pie filling unto cream cheese mixture.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until middle is done.

Ingredients
  • Crust:
  • 1 cup reduced fat bisquick
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter
  • Filling:
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon reduced fat bisquick
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • Glaze:
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crust: Combine 1 cup Bisquick and powdered sugar. Stir. Cut in butter using 2 knives crisscrossing or a pastry blender. Mixture should look like fine crumbs. In 8x8x2 inch square pan, press mixture in bottom and ½ inch up sides. Bake for 10 minutes or until crust is light brown. Remove from oven.
  2. Filling: Stir together sugar, eggs, 1 tablespoon bisquick, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 2 teaspoons lemon zest. Pour over crust. Return to oven and cook for 25 minutes or until filling is set and golden brown. While warm, loosen edges from sides of pan.
  3. Glaze: Combine ¾ cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Stir until smooth. Pour over baked layer. Cool for about 1 hour before cutting into squares.

Ingredients
  • 2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 teaspoons orange marmalade
  • ⅓ cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Topping:
  • ½ cup all-purpose
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted, softened
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour and confectioners’ sugar. Using a fork, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press mixture into bottom of 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown around edges.
  3. In medium bowl, whisk sugar, eggs, zest, orange marmalade, and juice together until mixed. Add ¼ cup of flour and baking powder. Stir until combined.
  4. Pour into hot baked crust and bake for 25 minutes or until filling is set.
  5. Topping: Whisk together flour and sugar. Using a fork, cut in butter and marmalade until mixture is crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle on top of baked orange bars. Let cool before cutting into bars
